Wicked by Amo Jones Review

Let me tell you I was only at the dedication and I was already in tears. Amo really truly gets her readers. From the start you get a good picture of who Ruby and wicked are to each other. Not only that we get to see who they are from the beginning, which in Amo fashion doesn't surprise me. But let me tell you this story kind of does play out like a mystery. So pay attention and get ready for the ride of your life. This story is heavy. Do you need to read sicko to enjoy this? No, but because you do get to see tidbits from sicko play out and be a part of Wicked it wouldn't hurt to read it and if you follow me then you probably already have read it. And because I'm not going to run the story let me just say another world plays into this, oh yes! We finally get all of our answers to how Wicked came to be in this amazing world that Amo has created. And man is it one heck of a ride! In a way it is a Coming of Age story wrapped up into the dark f****** world Twisted in wit

In honor of the upcoming release Wicked I have decided to re-read Sicko and let me tell you it once again shook me to the core! Description He was my foster brother. He swore to protect me. He failed. They all failed. I’m an open box of passé photographs, snapped in chaste daylight, but filtered in sepia. I’m the past that he tried to forget, and he was the future I needed. When he left six years ago, I screamed for him every night. But then it all stopped. My screams were suddenly muffled by cruelty, and further coaxed by pain. But he has come back. He’s not the cute big brother I had a furtive crush on, or the bad boy, rich brat that I hated to love. He’s the ruthless vice president of Wolf Pack MC, and he doesn’t answer to Royce Kane anymore. He answers to Sicko. This is a really great story but it does have moments in it that some might find hard to read or disturbing. Amo has this ability to take really dark shit that's in our world and bring it to light while a

Talk about a fucking epic conclusion! Description I was the trick that they could never play. She was the greatest game of all… There is elegance that comes from being carved from the ashes of all the darkness that surrounds you in the world. You start as dust, and you end as dust. At least that’s what I always thought. Crowned Princess Mayhem all my life became old fast, and I found myself forging my iron crown with the blood of our enemies. To The Brothers of Kiznitch, I was nothing but a little brat that always got my way. I was the sister none of them asked for, but they’d find themselves needing. He was no different. Loving Keaton Cicero was never going to be easy. There was evil within him that would never be accepted. They thought their over-protectiveness had kept me safe all these years, but they were wrong. Everything they thought they knew… was about to burn around them. I wasn’t someone who needed protecting… They were. This shit had all the feels. And if your l

Man was this a fucked up ride! and i mean that with a shit ton of respect! Amo truly out did herself this time. There are many layers in this book. As always, no spoilers ever...Do i feel this could be categorized as a pitch black? no, not really. Is it a bully romance? ehhh...But does it touch on some deep level shit, absolutely. When i said layers... oh man, pay attention to the time lines, whats being said and what is going on. And there is quite a bit. Ive read darker things, so to anyone that is unexperienced in dark romance, i dont feel this story would make them uncomfortable, but again, go into it open minded. I for one, found it hot and intoxicating. Super hard to put down, even while im at work. Amo truly knows how to write suspense and mystery, because that's what i would say this story was mixed with some steamy sex sense. But above all, great writing and even better story telling. Each book gets better and this one was so worth the wait. I highly recomme
The Devils Own Series (books 1-5) Review

Oh, let me tell you this series was an incredible read and was over way too fast! Especially book 2 and 5, did that take away from it. Abso-fucking-lutly not! Each book was a quick read (at least for me) Each book took about 24 hours except The Devil's Match, i read that on a Sunday (in between my shows). BUT as always, no spoilers!!! Book 1 description One Hundred and Thirty-Six Scars Meadow I was four years old when I learnt what evilness the world could bring. I fought through life with my scarred soul, wrangled through the dark empty nights where I’d pray I didn’t wake up the next morning. I would shut my eyes and mentally take myself to my happy place. Red roses The sound of waves crashing on the sand under my feet. The final time the cold blade pushed up against my thigh, and I waited for my blood to trickle over the other One hundred and thirty-six scars that covered my skin— never came. Who was this man who just saved me? He had no idea how close I came to endi

Yet again, Amo Jones knocks it out of the park with Losing Traction ! It is part of the WestBeach Series and we do get to interact with some of the characters from The Devils Own series, which is something i have come to enjoy when Amo does these nice little cross overs. She also has done it with EKC and Midnight Mayhem. Losing Traction centers around Phoebe who is the princess of Sinful Souls MC. She loves deeply because she lost her father, but still has her bigger brother and of course the whole MC to love and care for her. She also races really awesome cars (all of which she owns) and goes by the nickname Speedy cause of it. Description My name is Phoebe Rendon. Growing up as the only girl surrounded by the Sinful Souls MC community has never been easy. Outside of the club, I had no life because my brother and his two psycho best friends kept tabs on me. My only out was racing at Point Hellers, the largest and steepest drift mountain in Westbeach, California. Cars

Well, Amo did it again. This was the conclusion that I didn't even realize I needed! After reading Sancte Diaboli Part 2, I thought I had my happy ending to the EKC, but like I said, now I am satisfied with the conclusion of this series. I won't give away any spoilers, but I will say this. The character of Madison is very relatable. For as strong as she is, she makes mistakes and it takes her awhile, but she grows from them. Madship got their happy ever after, as well as the EKC. Description Nothing is going to make sense once you flip open this first chapter. You’re going to wonder why the fuck I made the decisions I did. Why he did what he did. I’m not going to make this easy for you. I’m going to guide you through loops that you’re going to wish I had just skipped, but I’m not going to do that either. You’re going to feel my pain, my loss, and my heart breaking in my chest. You’re going to watch me trip and fall, and get back up again. You’re going to wish you

First off... lets just take a moment here to appreciate the art work here for a second Okay, this series is beyond incredible and it had me all sorts of fucked up! The main character, Jane is a bad ass but more so then that she is not your typical female lead. This book does come with warnings, but let me tell you. Especially in the first book there are scenes of rape and child abuse, distorted images of self worth, mental abuse, attempted suicide... and all those things that Jane experienced were well into adult hood. From people that were supposed to protect her to the ones that should have loved her.... even her looks played a part in how she felt and of her own image (yet she was gorgeous). I know I don't like to give out spoilers but i think those things should be known from the beginning, and trust me it does not take away from the story. It is what has made Jane who she is and man does she have a big heart... She loves deeply
