Flip Trick Review

This was a very sweet and intense love story. At first I thought it was going to be a softer love story, but oh it gets into it. I mean, it is Amo Jones. As always... no spoilers The story is told primarily through Amethyst but we do get some view points from Maddox, her love interest. Which in my opinion is always nice to know how other characters feel, especially ones that share love with the main character. At least for me its always fun to hear how the male counterparts feel and think. Description "I did something I had never done before. I had a one-night stand. Then in true me fashion, I left my phone at his house during my desperate venture to escape. I tried hard to ignore the texts sent to my best friend’s phone... Amethyst: Sup, these selfies are cute as shit, but your lips looked better wrapped around my… I did NOT text him back. I DID vow to never speak of him, or that night again... I’m Amethyst Lily Tatum, and up until this point, I’d managed to maintain a fa

Absolution Review

So, I like twisted tales and dark romance but this one definitely took it to a whole new level. This book comes with warnings, allowing the reader to understand what they are getting themselves into. This is not a BDSM "love" story. No spoilers... I would like to say that it is in fact a story of two people who some might say are messed up but they are perfect together and for each other. So in a way it is a love story, but it has some dark scenes. As the authors put it, "[..] you will be thrown into the mind of a psychopath". This story comes from the perspective of both Evie and Ezra. Evie has had a rough start to say the least, being brought up in a religion that makes you think the female form is a sin. Ezra was brought up to believe that most women are whores and he runs a club. Both of these characters are brutally meant for each other. Absolution Description Evie All sins are equal in the eyes of God, but I'm not God. One sinner made me hi

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Just wow! Amo Jones is an incredible story teller and an artist with her words! As I say in my blog, no spoilers here...

This is the final story in TEKC and man did she make it a doozy. I started crying at the introduction and the feelings just kept coming. Saint and Brantley <3 It is so sad to say good bye to the characters that I have so fallen in love with. Nate, Tillie, Madison, Bishop all 6 will forever hold a special place in my heart. The story takes place 3 days after Sancte Diaboli: Part One, so not much has been missed. But what I like about this second part is that not only are we getting both Saint and Brantley's perspective, we get a bit more (no spoilers) plus some flashbacks. I just could not put this down. Even at work, every chance I got I was reading. Thanking Amo will never be enough, but thank you is much

Sancte Diaboli: Part 2 (Elite Kings Club #7)

Oh I am beyond excited that I had to go ahead and post this ASAP! I received my ARC copy this morning and I am beyond excited, elated, emotional, and forever grateful to be apart of Amo Jones Blogger Team. Of course I am at work right now so I really even had a chance to get a little time with this book, but I can tell you right now it is going to be a ride of emotions for me. It is the final book in the first generation EKC, but Ruined Castles will be a continuation of Madison through her journal after she left Bishop. OHHHHH, BRING IT ON!!!! Oh yea, this will also be my first reaction review. Never any spoilers.... So the story starts off a couple days after Sancte Diaboli part 1 leaves off. Yet again, Amo has created another world within the EKC. On a whole new level. She really has created a masterpiece with an almost neoclassical setting where Saint finds herself. BUT, as always, no spoilers here (I do not want to ruin this for anyone) but it is a beautiful setting. I

Oh this story gives me the feels and bad! I cried, I laughed, I got mad, I cried I was truly an emotional wreak by the time I finished this book. This is the first one of Amo's stories that comes with a trigger warning. Honestly though, its for a good reason. I absolutely loved this story, whished this could be a first reaction but it was the fourth time I had read it. But it still gets me and that as a lot to do with how well the characters interact within the story and that's all do to Amo's phenomenal writing skills. The woman can create the most beautiful and alluring worlds. She is an artist with words. "Not all of us have the freedom that money and power provide. Some of us have to actually unlock ourselves from what keeps us shackled, not pay our way out" -Tillie Description “Love is savage, love is blind, love is something they may not find…” Once upon a time, there was a young girl who lived in a battered trailer, a girl from the wrong side of the
