  This book gives a bit of a recap then leads right into what the heck Madison is going through. And she has gone through a lot. A lot that would genuinely break a person, yet she keeps fighting. She doesn't give up. I truly cannot get enough of the characters or the worlds that Amo creates! I mean, I am now re-reading this series for the third time. I would have loved to do a first reaction on these books because they are so phenomenal but I am in the process of buying a home and my computer was down. But this story takes right off from the first book in this series without loosing any of it momentum. Its like there was never a break and the story continues as a whole.   Let me tell you... This story took my on a roller coaster of a ride. It has mystery and intrigue and of course really hot sex. It was a bit hard for me to wrap my head around the fact that these are teenagers (albeit almost adults, but still, I remember sex at that age and unless it was with someone older, it wasn't like that!!!!)   This is such a great book! Amo Jones really knows how to create extreme characters in an even more extreme environments! For the people who dont know me, I have a fucked up past. And I have been blogging my shit since the days of My Space. It was my only escape of being able to freely speak about what I was living through. Then i found my husband and for the last 10 years my life has been peaceful and fulfilling (for the most part, shit we all have trails and tribulations). I started this book because I have never read  a RH (reverse harem) and decided why not give it a try. I woke up this morning and received an email from the one and only Amo Jones. Without a doubt one of the best authors I have come across. Seriously! I read The Elite Kings series in a week and Midnight Mayhem series in 2 days! I read Sicko in a day!!! I cannot get enough of the world's that Amo Jones has created. Her words are raw and real just like her characters. That is what actually introduced me to her. So, when she asked for bloggers I decided it was finally my chance to write how I'd like over something I love (since I write for the local newspaper and I technically wrote what they wanted me to) so I filled it out and woke up this morning to say I have been accepted as one of her bloggers...what!?! Beyond honored!!! I mean I just cannot believe it, this has given me a reason to start pursing what I love, which is writing about things that I enjoy. More to come (I'm on my way to Deadwood for research and a little fun 😉)

Things are never easy which is why I get lost in books. I've been writing and reading and writing but things continue to be... So, I'm still not in the mood to share my sad and fucked up past, but man when I say it did a number on me... I am now in my junior year (bachelors) which took a couple years longer than I had anticipated because while going for my AA I decided I wanted to be a writer and took every possible humanities class and writing class they offered, needless to say i ended up with a shit tone of credits going into the university but being that we live in a small town I had to do it online and well, good luck finding a writing school online. So now I am going in communications with a minor in media arts.  But what ever.. im getting the shit done, which is why I have decided to start blogging again so I can get used to writing.
